
About Ozark Volleyball Club
The All Star Sports Arena (ASSA) and Ozark Juniors are building a new tradition of Volleyball in the Northwest Arkansas area. We are dedicated to developing top quality female and male players and programs for ages 8 to 80. Through excellence in coaching, well-run and well-administered programs, a philosophy of inclusiveness, and dedication to each member, The All Star Sports Arena (ASSA) and Ozark Juniors are developing the future of Volleyball for the NW Arkansas area.
Over the last 2 years we have experienced rapid membership growth and success on the court, we have more than quadrupled the size of our Juniors club as well developing an adult division that is geared for all levels of players from the total beginner to the seasoned veteran. The newly constructed All Star Sports Arena has 4-7 dedicated volleyball only courts for our members to use. The administrative/coaching staff has quality, experienced Directors/instructors. ASSA/OZARK JRs features an emphasis on strong administration skills and dedication to handle the details and make sure things run smoothly.
We continue to reach out to the entire community in an effort to grow and promote the great sport of Volleyball in the Northwest Arkansas area.

Club Accomplishments
- Ozark won the 2006 DELTA National Qualifier Championships in the 15s (2006).
- Ozark 171 finished 9th out of 168 teams at the prestigious Lone Star National Qualifier in Dallas (2005-2006).
- Ozark 151 finished 3rd at the prestigious President’s Day Classic in Omaha, NE (2005-2006)
- Ozark won the 2005 DELTA National Qualifier Championships in the 16s (2005).
- Ozark 141 finished 5th out of 164 teams at the prestigious Lone Star National Qualifier in Dallas (2004-2005).
- Ozark took two top 5 finishes at the prestigious President’s Day Classic in Omaha, NE (2004-2005)
- Ozark 151 finished 9th out of 153 teams at the prestigious Lone Star National Qualifier in Dallas (2003-2004).
- During the 2004 through 2006 seasons Ozark will have produced 5 players for the Arkansas Lady’Backs
- Ozark won the 2004 DELTA National Qualifier Championships in the 15s and 17s division (2004).
- Ozark won the 2003 DELTA Regional Championships in the 14s and 16s division.
- Over the last two years Ozark has drawn players from Tulsa (100 miles), Hot Springs (250 miles), Russellville (80 miles), Conway (90 miles), and Southeastern MO to play on our travel teams.
- Ozark has established satellite clubs in Ft Smith, Harrison, Conway, and Joplin to help develop the sport throughout the State of Arkansas and Southeastern Missouri.

- Fort Smith’s Kristin Seaton committed to the LadyBacks as a rising Junior in summer of 2003
- 16 year old Catherine Fowler of Conway, AR committed to the LadyBacks as a sophomore.
- 6 members were invited to various USA Volleyball (USAV) Junior National High Performance Camps throughout the United States (Tampa, Kalamazoo and San Francisco)
- This is believed to be the first group of kids from the State of Arkansas to be invited into the National High Performance program.
- Kelly Wetzel, Bentonville, was invited to participate at the National High Performance Beach Volleyball Camp in Hermosa Beach. First player ever from Arkansas to even be considered.
- Kristin Seaton was chosen to the 2003 National High Performance A2 team.
- Catherine Fowler of Conway was chosen as a final alternate for the 2004 National High Performance A2 team.

The National High Performance Program
The USA Volleyball National High Performance program (http://usavolleyball.org/HighPerformance/) is for identifying and training girls and boys volleyball athletes from across the country, and across a wide range of age groups. HP serves as USA Volleyball's pipeline for young players who aspire to compete at the highest level and to someday play for the USA Mens or Womens National Volleyball Team.

AAO Volleyball Camp Accomplishments
2006 AAO Top 25 Camp
Patterned after the AAO Top 25 basketball camps, the camp featured top juniors and sophomores from across Arkansas as nominated by their high school coaches. Those players gathered for two days of drills, seminars and matches to showcase players most likely to succeed at the college level. At the end of the weekend, camp directors and coaches selected the top 25 players. Ozark took 8 of the 25 spots available. Ozark took home 5 of the 8 awards given for outstanding play.
