Head Coach: Doug Fredeen

Doug is a former National Champion Wallyball competitor. Wallyball is Volleyball played on a racquetball court. Doug has also played volleyball at the men's A/AA level. Doug has been coaching for Ozark for the past 7 years, during which he coach several National teams that participated in the Junior Olympics National Tournament. 

Head Coach: Ryan Meek

Ryan Meek has been a part of Ozark Juniors for the past 3 years. He lead Ozark Juniors 171 to Junior Olympic Championships last year.
Prior to Ozark Ryan Meek joined the Lady Razorback volleyball staff in January 2006 as a volunteer assistant coach. The Simi Valley, Calif., native works with Arkansas’ outside hitters and liberos and will assist in coordinating the defense and serving systems for the Lady’Backs. 
Prior to joining the Lady Razorbacks, Meek attended Moorpark College earning his associate’s degree in general studies. As a player, Meek was the starting setter for Quincy University, leading the team in assists before an injury sidelined him. Meek also started at Moorpark College finishing first in the state in assists and was in the top 20 in digs. He still holds the record for assists in a single match and in a season. 
Meek also coached at Simi Valley High School from 2004-06 leading the girls volleyball team to a top five Ventura County ranking for two seasons.

 Head Coach:
Denise Baez
 Baez is a 1997 graduate of Arkansas with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Baez has the destination of being the first volleyball player to ever sign at the University of Arkansas joining the inaugural team in 1994. As a player at Arkansas, Baez was a two-time All-Southeastern Conference selection, earned SEC All-Tournament Team honors and was a multiple-time SEC Player of the Week selection. In addition, Baez was a two-time pick to the SEC Academic Honor Roll. Baez completed her career at Arkansas fifth for career kills with 1,377 and is eighth in the record books with 1,014 career digs. She holds the single match record for total attempts with 81 and the season record for block solos with 46. Baez departed Arkansas getting into the coaching ranks at the University of Cincinnati for one season. Baez also had assistant coaching stints at the University of Illinois and Purdue University. Baez retired from coaching in 2003 after getting her massage therapy license. She returned to Fayetteville where she worked with several Razorback teams. Currently Denise Baez is the director of volleyball operations for the University of Arkansas Volleyball Team. This will be Denise's third year of coaching with Ozark Juniors Volleyball Club. She lead Ozark Juniors 161 team to win the Silver Division at the Junior Olympics National Championships.

Head Coach: Kim Chronister
Kim Chronister is a former player for the Lady' Backs. Kim was All Southern Conference player in ('96,'97,'98). NCAA East Regional All-Tournament Team ('98) AVCA All-District 4 All/Region ('98) ** AVCA National Player of the Week ('98). **AVAC All-American 1998. Kim played high school volleyball at Bellevue West, In Bellevue Nebraska. She help lead her team to three straight State Championships (92,93,94) This is Kim's 4th year with the Ozark Juniors Volleyball Program.

Giedre Tarnauskaite - "G"
"G" is originaly from Kaunas, Lithuania. She came to the United States to play volleyball when she was recruited by Arkansas State University as an Outside Hitter, where in 2004 "G" was named Sun-Belt Conference Player of the Year. Giedre has been in the Ozark Juniors Program for the past 3 years. This would be her 4th season with Ozark.

 Head Coach: Leslie Osterloh
Leslie Osterloh grew up and started competitively playing volleyball in Wisconsin at the age of 12. She played for several USAV clubs during her high school years and continued her passion for the sport at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities.  She graduated from Carlson School of Business with a double major and double minor (Respectively International Business, Marketing, Spanish, and Foreign studies) in May 2007.  During her tenure at the U of M she also assumed the position of President of the University Club Volleyball team leading 2 teams of 15 girls each. Upon graduation, she took a job with Nestle USA and moved to Chicago for Nestle’s Leadership Sales Development program. There she assisted in many coaching opportunities with the EVP program which involved kids and adults.  One year later (July 2008) she moved with Nestle to Fayetteville, Arkansas and is now a Strategic Category Analyst on the Wal-mart Account. She coaches the Ozark Juniors 15-2 Regional Plus team. This is Leslie's 1st year at Ozark Juniors.

Evgeniya "Jenny" Kirk
"Coachalova" is a former Arkansas Lady'Back. Kirk played for Arkansas in 2000-01, leading the Razorbacks to 37 wins and the NCAA Tournament as the team’s setter.  She finished her career with 1968 career assists, a mark that ranks fourth all-time for the Razorbacks. In addition, Kirk’s name is splashed throughout the record books as she holds the career record for assists in a match with 88 against Tennessee in 2000. Kirk earned her bachelors degree in education from Arkansas in 2002 and masters in Sport Management in 2004,  She was 3 time gold medal winner at the Junior National Championships at her home country Bulgaria. Jenny was also was a member of the Junior National Team of Bulgaria. She has been coaching with Ozark Volleyball Academy for 6 years, and this is her third year of being the Ozark Volleyball Academy Club Director.

Head Coach: Caira Dortch
Caira Dortch is currently an U of A razorback. She came to Arkansas as a four-time all-district and a two-time all-conference award winner for the Hillcrest Hornets in Springfield, Mo. Dortch earned the first of four academic all-conference honors as a freshman and was selected as the News-Leader Athlete of the Week and as an all-conference honorable mention in her first year of high school volleyball. She repeated her academic honors as a sophomore adding academic all-state to the list for the next three years. As a junior in 2003, Dortch lead the team in block assists and was selected to several all-tournament teams. Her senior season saw Dortch earn first-team all-conference, all-district 11 and all-district Class 4. She was a member of the all-region team, an all-state nominee, academic all-conference and all-state as a senior earning News-Leader honors twice that year. She led the Hornets in hitting percentage and total blocks, earned the team’s top server award and was second in the conference in total blocks at the end of the regular season.
        Dortch earned the National Student Television Award for Excellence in the summer before attending the University after producing a video on a deaf football player. She, along with contributing classmates, were honored in a ceremony at the Time Warner Headquarters in New York City. This will be Caira' s 3rd
year with Ozark Juniors Volleyball Program.

Head Coach:
Emily Howland
Emily Howland is native of Tulsa, OK.  Howland played volleyball at Union High School 8th-12th grade. Currently Howland is a senior Animal Science, Pre-Vet major at the University of Arkansas.  She was the volleyball manager at the U of A for the 2005 and 2006 seasons.  Howland plans on starting vet school in the fall of 2009. This is her 1st year as a head coach at Ozark Juniors Volleyball Academy.

Head Coach: Michelle Coens

Michelle Coens grew up in a small town from Ontario, Canada.  There she finished her high school career graduating at the top of her class while playing Basketball, Volleyball, Track and Badminton.  Michelle finished  with numerous MVP's, all-star awards, and had the honor of being awarded both Jr & Sr. athlete of the year. 

After high school, Michelle received a full volleyball scholarship to attend and play for the University of Arkansas, Lady Razorbacks.  While attending the University of Arkansas, Michelle was two time All-SEC 2nd team, won numerous All-tournament team awards, captain of her team, 3rd team Acedemic All-District team,  Dean's list, Chancellor's list, and was on the SEC Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll from 200-2003. 

In 2003-2004 Michelle graduated with a bachelor of Science in Education K-12, and furthered her education the following year by completing her Master of Arts in Teaching at the University of Arkansas during 2004-2005.  

After completing her Masters she was hired by the Springdale School District, taught Health & P.E., and was the head Volleyball Coach and Assistant Track Coach at George Jr. High. 

Michelle has now been promoted to the new head Volleyball Coach and Assistant track coach for Springdale High School.  She is looking forward to building a great program there, and is very excited about her new position. 

Michelle continued her career as the Head Volleyball coach at Springdale high school in 2006
Currently Michelle is the Head Volleyball Coach for the Lady Tigers at Bentonville High School. She lead the team to two State Championships in 2007 and 2008.
Coens has been a part of Ozark for the past 7 years. She continues to bring success to the Ozark Juniors Volleyball Program.

Stephanie Sanlan
Stephanie Scanlan grew up in Rockwall, TX and attended Rockwall High School. She lettered on the varsity volleyball for three seasons, and earned all district honors in two of the seasons. Scanlan graduated from Centenary College of Louisiana where she was on a Division I volleyball scholarship, and played for four seasons. She was played right side/setter in college. Scanlan graduated with a degree in Communication. This is Stephanie's 1st season as a coach at Ozark Juniors Volleyball Academy

Head Coach/Coaching DirectorLori Schaal

Lori Schaal led Heelan (Iowa) to the 1999 state championship and the team was the runner-up in 2001. She had a 186-33-19 record in five seasons at Heelan and has won 334 games overall in her 11 year coaching career. She was named Iowa Coach of the Year in 2000. Schaal was a two time All -Star Team Head coach in Iowa(2001) and Nebraska(1996). Lori also coached at North and Bellevue East before coming to Heelan. Heelan was also undefeated in city play during Schaal's tenure. She was an All American at Nebraska-Omaha and is a member of the school's Hall of Fame. Lori led several Ozark teams to Juniors Olympic National Championships. This is Lori's 6 year with the Ozark Juniors Volleyball Program.

Head Coach: Sara Kincaid

Sara Kincaid is a former standout performer for the University of Arkansas. Sara was named AVCA Honorable Mention All-Americans in 2003. During her career at Arkansas, she was chosen twice for the All Southeastern Conference Team, SEC All-Tournament team in 2003, 3 times player of the week, and one time defensive player of the week. At SMS-West Plains were Sara plaed from 1999-2000, she earned back-to-back NJCAA All-American honors. This will be Sara's  5th year with the Ozark Juniors Volleyball Program.

This is Jon Kathol's 1st year as a head coach with Ozark Juniors Volleyball Program.

Ozark Juniors 11 Blue

Head Coach: Susan Lowry
Sue Lowry is a former setter for the University of Oklahoma. She played for the Sooners as the starting setter from 1986-1989 where she led the team to their first Big 8 title in 1987 and 2 trips to NCAA tournament in 1987 and 1988. Lowry holds numerous career records including 2nd in assists, 7th in digs, and 8th in aces. Sue has been coaching volleyball for the past 4 years through the Boys and Girls Club in Bentonville, AR. This will be Sue's 1st year coaching with Ozark Juiors Volleyball Academy.
