Jenny, My name is Justin Dee and I am the Head Coach at Lyon College in Batesville, AR. I am also the High Performance Director and on the Board of Directors for the Delta Region of USA Volleyball. I always love to see your teams compete, except when they beat Arkansas Juniors:) I just wanted to let you know we always love to hear from your players and would love to fill up our roster with the very best from the Delta Region. We are an NAIA Division I school. We qualified for our first Region XI tournament this season and are a "program on the rise". We usually get our recruiting started in the student-athlete's junior club season and end our recruiting in November of their senior year, but we are always looking for players and always open to Ozark players. We offer both academic and athletic scholarships and can give up to a full scholarship in each or a combination of the two. We are a very challenging academic school, but compete with the best of them on the court. We will be looking to fill an Outside and Setting position in 2008, and we always love to hear from pounders in the middle and ball control girls in the back row. (We need ball control and help in the middle for 2007) Tell the girls to come up and say hey at any tournaments, we can talk anytime as an NAIA program. I will be that guy on the sideline on Arkansas Juniors 16-1. I have scholarship money and I would love to get a great recruiting class out of the Delta Region to show the nation what we have to offer! Thanks, Jenny. I look forward to seeing you at the CAP clinic and HP tryouts.

Good afternoon,
This weekend I’ll be traveling to Dallas to attend the Lone Star Qualifier. We’re still eagerly recruiting for 2007 and would appreciate it if you’d take a moment to let me know if there’s anyone on your team I should watch.
Washington University is an outstanding academic institution. “US News and World Report” recently ranked WU the 11th best academic university in the nation. We’re equally proud of the tradition the BEARS volleyball program enjoys as the most successful women’s volleyball program in NCAA history. We’ve won eight NCAA III National Championships, competed in the Final 8 in seventeen of the last eighteen years, and have won at least 30 matches each season for the last twenty years. Several current BEARS were recruited by Division I programs but instead elected to matriculate to Wash U for the unparalleled combination of academic and athletic excellence.
Although Washington University doesn’t list specific criteria for admission, here’s the academic profile of our four incoming freshmen:
Average ACT 30
Average rank upper 5%
Average GPA 3.88
I hope to hear from you soon.
GOOD LUCK!!!

Hello Coach Matthews,
My name is Lorelee Smith and I am the assistant volleyball coach at Central Missouri State University. This past weekend I had the opportunity to see you 16's team compete. As a team you have very determined players with great talent. I enjoyed watching them compete. There are a couple of particular players on your team we are interested in. It would be a huge help if you could please forward me a roster of your players with their jersey numbers. I have a list with names but no numbers and that makes recruiting difficult. We wish you the best of luck with your up and coming tournaments. Take care and keep up the great work.

Dear Denise,
My name is Lawrence Anderson and I’m the Assistant Volleyball Coach at Drury University in Springfield, MO. I was wondering if you could tell me about (EDIT) and send me some information about her? We are looking for middles and outside hitters for the 2007 class; if you happen to have any other kids who you think I should know about, that would be great. Any help you could give would be very helpful.
Thanks for your time,

My assistant coach was at the Vegas tournament last weekend and saw your team play. My assistant , Yasmin Ortiz, saw one of your middles, (EDIT) and told me this is someone I need to look into. I was wondering if you had any contact information on her or any information you have on her would be helpful.
To let you know a little about us, we are a Div. II program with scholarship available for middles. We are part of the Heartland Conference playing schools such as St. Edwards, St. Mary's San Antonio, and Montana State- Billings.

Feb. 1, 2006 Jenny,
Hi! My name is Erin Plumley, and I am the Assistant Volleyball coach at
DePauw University. Having graduated four seniors this past year, we are
currently recruiting in all positions. I have provided information
regarding DePauw and the Lady Tiger Volleyball Team. Our program is
looking for individuals who have a strong academic and athletic
commitment, so we would enjoy learning more about your girls.
Academically, DePauw has long enjoyed, not only a regional, but also a
national reputation for academic excellence. We can offer a Liberal
Arts curriculum with over 50 major areas of study, as well as the chance
to study in pre-professional programs in education, law, medicine, and
engineering, among others. Financial aid at NCAA III schools is based
on academic achievement and/or need. Student-athletes can apply online
for free at www.depauw.edu.
Athletically, DePauw is a member of the Southern Collegiate Athletic
Conference (SCAC). The ten SCAC schools are located in Arkansas,
Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas. This
past season the Lady Tiger Volleyball Team finished a successful season
at 25-11. The Tigers fell short this year of an NCAA appearance, but we
have attended in the past. The SCAC sent three teams to the National
Tournament this year. Our conference is very competitive, and we
compete at the highest level of Division III volleyball.
The Division III atmosphere and smaller schools have something very
important to offer perspective student-athletes. Opportunities. At
DePauw students receive individualized attention in the classroom, have
the option of joining a sorority and other groups on campus, gain
valuable experience through internships, etc. The opportunities are
valuable, and they're endless. For example, one of players this past
summer worked on the set of the Today Show in New York City. This
month, she will attend the Olympic Games for NBC.
If any of your players are interested in receiving more information
about DePauw, please contact me by phone or e-mail. Good luck with your
club season!
Tiger Pride!

I'd like to introduce you to Franklin Pierce College and our women's volleyball program! FPC is located in the center of New England with easy access to Boston and New York City. We offer more than 30 majors including Criminology, Sports Management, Business Administration, Communications, and Education. Our volleyball team is excited for the upcoming year, where we are aiming for a top 5 finish in our conference!
I was looking at your club's web site and wanted to pass along our information. We are a Division II school and compete in the Northeast 10 conference. We do offer academic scholarships and some athletic scholarships. Our volleyball program is growing program, having moved up to the #4 spot this season, after winning the quarterfinals of the conference championships – the team’s 1st trip to the conference tournament in program history. We had 2 freshmen receive conference honors and our senior libero was named to the 3rd team all conference. We are looking forward to improving upon this year’s successes next year and earn a NCAA bid.
I graduate 5 seniors this year and have several slots to fill on my roster. If you have any players interested in coming to the northeast, please pass along their contact information. I do travel to several tournaments once the club season starts and will have, hopefully, several opportunities to see your club teams play. Additionally, I hold do hold several playdates in the spring (Feb. 9-10 and March 2-3) where recruits are invited to tour campus, attend class, spend the night with a player, and run through a practice with us.
If your players are interested learning more about Franklin Pierce, please email me back as soon as possible and check out FPC at <http://www.fpc.edu/> . I look forward to hearing from you!

Jenny,
My name is Matt Linebarger, I’m the head volleyball coach at Millsaps College. I took over the program in August. The program did not have much of a recruiting database and I was unable to get out during the fall partly because of Katrina.
If you have any unsigned 06 prospects that would excel at the DIII level both on the court and academically would please send me their information. I greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks and I hope to personally introduce myself at some point this spring.
Best Regards,
Matt
