Financial Assistance Programs

If you become unable to make your payments according to the payment schedule, please contact us as soon as possible at  In most cases, we can offer an extended payment plan or work through another solution with you.  However, please do not assume that our flexibility and understanding are an automatic privilege.  If you do not contact us prior to the payment date, then we will assume you will be making payments as scheduled.  In the event that you do not pay according to the payment schedule AND you have not contacted us to discuss it, we will pursue disciplinary actions according to our policies.  Some of these actions could include, but are not limited to,  your child not being allowed to participate in practices or tournaments (until dues are brought current).  In addition, we will also pursue collection activity, as needed.  Please be sure to contact us in advance to avoid any of these outcomes. Adjustments to payment schedules may start as early as October 10th, 2022. In the case your child is not chosen to participate on an Ozark Juniors Volleyball Club team, all payments will be returned in full (not including tryout fees).

Ozark Juniors has a very limited number of financial assistance programs available.  These financial assistance programs are for athletes who want to play club volleyball but do NOT have the financial means to do so.  Any financial assistance we offer will not usually cover the full amount of the fees; therefore, families should be prepared to pay something toward the costs of participation. Most of our financial assistance awards will be provided through opportunities to work at events hosted by Ozark Juniors.  In order to be considered for these opportunities, you must complete an application.  We will not be able to provide financial assistance of any sort without an application.

To be considered for any type of financial assistance that is offered, you must do all of the following (INCOMPLETE  APPLICATIONS or APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED AFTER THE DEADLINE WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED):

  • Complete the financial assistance application

  • Parent must provide first two pages and Schedule C (if applicable) of 2021 Federal Income Tax Return

  • Parent must provide a brief written statement that provides specifics on the following:  specific reasons why you need assistance.

  • Sign Financial Assistance Recipient Statement of Understanding

Application and essay must be submitted by Monday October 10, 2022, at 5:00 pm to

The financial assistance committee will review all applications and essays to determine awards.  Consideration will be given to applicants need using a standard selection protocol that evaluates:

  • Financial need
  • Unusual personal or family circumstances

All applicants will be notified via email prior to the first day of tryouts regarding the decisions.  If you are awarded financial assistance, you will receive information about any scholarship amount, as well as an adjusted payment schedule for any dues remaining to be paid by you.  You will also receive detailed instructions on work responsibilities to help pay off your dues.

Ozark Juniors will financially assist as many athletes as possible; but there are a limited number of opportunities available.

ANY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE AWARDED WILL BECOME NULL AND VOID if the receiving player becomes able to participate in any individual or group lessons outside of regular practices.  The financial assistance committee will assume that this player's financial situation has changed and that they will be able to afford the remaining club fees since they are able to pay for private lessons.
